2020 – Shaun The Sheep

In 2020, we were contracted to be the video technical team for Circa Contemporary Circus’ new show: Shaun the Sheep’s Circus Show!

We worked closely with the creative team to ensure the design was right for what the show needed. The show had many challenges, including the main video component – a 5m wide by 3m high video wall “billboard” that tracks across stage suspended from a rail above stage. All up, this screen, frame, and the header rail weighed just over 1500kg.

The show also incorporated live video from a wireless handheld camera that was operated by the performers on stage.

The show ran successfully, with rave reviews from all who saw it. It then visited multiple locations in Australia, before being taken to Singapore in 2023. Buck Outdoor was there for every step of the way, providing a video technician for the duration of each season. We can’t wait to see where this show will take us next!
